Decorating a Home Music Studio
My husband used to sing with several bands- and although he never really did it “professionally”, one of the topmost things on his wishlist for life is to have his very own music studio at home. Lately, there have been talks of putting one of the bands back together… and because I’m such an awesome wife, we’re turning our attic (currently used for storage) into a practice-slash-recording studio.
Now while my husband takes care of all the “technical” stuff, I’ve been busying myself searching for decor that’ll make it the coolest looking home studio around. Here are some of my finds…
Most Beatles posters are cool, but this one, with its vibrant colors and psychedelic artwork, is my favorite.

was “inspired by the foliage of nature”- and we could definitely use some nature up in the attic! Best of all, my husband loves it too (he’s still on the fence about the ottomans!)

The aptly named ColoRiffic Pendulum-Style Guitar Wall Clock
will serve two functions in our home studio: remind my husband when it’s time to stop - and look SO cool! “Pendulum-style” means that the handle of this clock swings!

And finally, I simply have to get a couple of these LP Snack Trays

Wow, nice find - those Marco Polo ottomans just stopped me right in my tracks! Don’t you just want to (win a lottery and) get “one of everything” at Artful Home? One of my top fav sites, for sure… but somehow I hadn’t spotted those ottomans before.

I love the ottomans! They are so funky and would work great in a music area. Are you going to put pictures up when it’s all done?
